LGA 1155 Motherboard before recall failed?

Ok, so basicly, I got an ASUS P8P67 motherboard when they got recalled, but decided to get it before replacements became available, and never got a replacement (pre built comp, didnt want to wait a week or two for a replacement). Lately, I have been haveing problems with freezes, blackscreen, programs not responding, etc. On boot "Harddrive not detected" etc. I was thinking it was just that my Harddrive is dieing, but just now, my harddrive AND cd drive aren't being detected anymore, and I doubt both would die at the same time, so Im thinking its my motherboard that's not working. What do you guys think?

if they are plugged into the SATA gen 2 ports then just move em on over to the SATA 3 ports and go on your way.

If you're plugged into the Sata II ports, then possibly. Try using the Sata III port for your hard drive.
