The D-14 is one of if not the best air cooler out there right now. The V6GT is far from dethroning it. If you wanna compare the V6GT to the V*, there's no comparison, V6GT beats the V8 hands down. However, if I'm not wrong, your Pentium Dual Core is the same as mine, E5200 right?? Coz you said it's 2.5GHz. If so, the Hyper 212 Plus is more than adequate for that chip. My chip at 3.48GHz with a Vcore of 1.348V maxes out at 58C in Orthos with an ambient of 22C. I've tested it at 4.2GHz with a Vcore of 1.58V, and temps never went above 70C with the same ambient.

EDIT: 3.58GHz

Or just go with CM Hyper 212+, it should get the job done just fine as well. It's not "the best", but has instead damn good price/performance ratio.
FRIO is available in our place but a little expensive than v6gt...wat will u suggest me the FRIO ir v6gt? or which is better of those 2 for u?
tnx for suggesting

i'm not really particular at noise level as long as it cools very well even in overclocking..tnx for the info i could really make comparisons between them..is the thermaltake FRIO OCK good? wat do u think?

Why not get A enclosed loop hybrid, like the h-70 ? I have had great experience with mine. It runs my overclock cool, very easy to install. It will cost around the same as a high end air cooler.

Cool I always thought the D-14 was better. Then I went and check review on Hardware Canucks and you're right. Thanks for the info.
