Changing Death Adder Case

Hello I already have the Death adder 1800dpi mouse and its the best mouse I ever had.

The ony problem is the glossy sides because of my sweaty hands ..

So there is an Black Edition without the glossy sides.

I dont want to use the Black edition because of the ****ty sensor but I want to use the case on the mouse that I have now.

Now the question is If i can use the case of the Deathadder Black edition on my 1800dpi death adder ?

Would I get problem with the internals of the 1800dpi version not fitting within the case of the black edition?

I thought the Black Edition had the same sensor as the DA 3.5G...is that not so?
If it does, it's definitely not a ****ty sensor.

Nah I have the old 3g sensor and dont want to use the new sensor because of bad things I have read about it.

^There's no bad things about it that can't be fixed. Prediction (I believe it has prediction) can be disabled through custom firmware and the high LOD can be fixed with some tape. Simple as that.

The DA BE has the same sensor as the DA 3.5G. I don't know where you got that info.

As I said I have the Deathadder 3g edition not 3.5g

I'm pretty sure you've been reading about the Phillips Twin-Eye sensor that people have been raving on about. I can assure you the DeathAdder Black Edition doesn't have it.
Also, even if you were to keep your old mouse and use the Black Edition case:
Why? You would've spent money on hardware for just the case. You might as well use the mouse or just make your own case for the mouse.

The answer would be yes. Same mouse with different aesthetics and different sensor.

I would wait for thuNDa to post in this thread, he has a lot of experience with modding various DA versions (iirc they aren't exactly the same).
