Problem with Steam

Thread Starter
Hi all, I think I'm posting in the right place here.

Bit of a strange problem, my desktop works fine, everything else is fine, and steam downloads games fine but...

When I play a game, the screen blacks out and all I have is the audio.

I have changed the 'Primary Monitor' about, played with all those settings and just none of my games will show any video output.

Any idea's?

Thanks

Aside from making sure drivers and such are up to date can take a look at these threads:

try uninstalling your drivers, and reinstalling a older driver.

what about movies, do movies play on full screen?
