So what is a good i5 2500k motherboard, allows for SLI, UEFI bios is also preferred although not necessary, good for overclocking, and under $200

Look no further than the board in my sig. Amazing board for the money, is about 165 right now. Supports pci-e 3.0, high quality caps, great uefi, and looks awesome. Supports sli and Xfire as well.

ASUS P8P67 PRO, easily the most popular 1155 motherboard on OCN and for good reason...its decent.

Yup, also a great choice. Can't go wrong with that one either. And since it's so popular a lot of people on ocn can help if you need it.

I really do like my mobo but i've had the second pcie slot die twice. I'm in the midst of an rma with asus and so far they've been fantastic. I do love the advanced replacement.

If I was to start again I would seriously look at the asrock and gigabyte equivalents of the p8p67 boards.

For the record uefi is great!!!!
