I need Advice Please,A.S.A.P!!!

Hi.
I'm planning on buying a new video card for my system.
Im such a N00B when it comes to bottleneck, and all those technical questions.

First off,Let me tell you that i'm no E-Peen that need big scores in 3DMark and all that fancy stuff.I'm an Average gamer that plays from time to time for a couple hours here and there.Nothing more.

The new video card will run for games on my LCD PC screen which is only 1680x1050 22(inch),or my TV (rarely) in 1080p,but mainly in 1680x1050,since its my main monitor.

Now,..i will give u guys my config/rig.
For you to judge what could be best for an average gamer, and for bottlenecks.

------------------------------------------------------
SPECS:
-Intel core i7 920 @ 2.70 (x21)
-6GB triple channel DDR3 1600
-EVGA 3XSLI X58
-OCZ SSD Agility 2 120GB
-640GB Caviar black
-GTX 260 core 216 SCC
-OCZ gameXstream 850 watts psu

----------------------------------------------------------

Now,....i have two different card in mind.
(I know in 1680x1050 resolution,at this moment even my gtx 260 core 216 is ok,but im thinking about upgrading because its starting to drop radically in FPS.)

Here are my 2 choice :

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...0%20classified

or....

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16814130590

My intention arent to have the best score in 3Dprog. ,
Or to have the (Best) Framerate.....
But i want to play decent recent games at high settings,
With at least 55-60 FPS min. @1680x1050 or my 1080p LCD.

And,i plan to be a hardcore BF3 gamer, even though im no hardcore Gamer...
So maybe the classified gtx 570 will die on this game???

And about bottleneck???Please bring me to light lol.
It's my first post here,Hope youll answer me A.S.A.P

Thanks all...

Average gamer,...with 1680x1050....GTX 570 ,...or 580.
I know i can SLI a 570 later this year,....but i dunno.....

anywayz,thanks again
Matt

SLI 560's would do you just fine. Buy one to start with and if you can afford another one later buy one. They also overclock really well.

+1 for the 560. I have the 560ti and it maxes out everything I have (including Crysis 2 with DX11 and His Res pack) at playable frame rates. When BF3 comes out, you can add another 560 if needed.

Thanks Guys,i appreciate your advice!!

I'll add the 560 gtx (SLI) set-up to my options.

1-gtx 570 classified at 822 MHz
2-gtx 580 at 797 Mhz (Sc)
3-gtx 560 x 2

I could have two gtx 560 for the price of one gtx 580 Oc'd......
With only 1 monitor,and no 3D....
will the gtx 460 SLI beat a GTX 580 for me?

I recommend a 560 because we still don't know what BF3 will require to play maxed out. A single 560 can run most of the games maxed out at 1080p. If BF3 comes out and a single 560 can run it at decent resolution, then you will have saved $150-$200 to put toward something else (Keplar GPUs). If not, then you have two options:

1) Throw in a second 560.

2) Wait for the Keplar series GPUs.

No point in spending $400 on a card in anticipation for an unreleased game.

wHAT ARE THOSE keplar gpu??

And yes....to buy a gtx 580 only to play BF3 would be stupid.Since there is no real Game requirements at the moment.

Nobody should be recommending a 560 non ti unless they dropped $30 in price overnight and nobody told me. Either the 460 or the 560 TI are both good options, the 560 non ti is overpriced.

Im in a similar situation. Im thinking of going with a 560ti and holding out until keplar. I don't see BF3 being too hard to run on decent settings on a single 560ti.

So,u all suggest for my Gaming Rig i have right now,and for 1680x1050 resolution,a 560 Ti?

U sure at that resolution with my configuration i wont be too much under 60FPS in general?

And lastly,if i buy a 560Ti over a 570 or 580,
Il go 99% in SLI and buy two of the same card at once.
Will Sli be stupid for me if i only use a single monitor on a 1680x1050 screen?

I don't think it would be a bad idea if you really want as high minimums as you say you do, and 1Gb will be an acceptable amount of VRAM at that res for some time. This is the card I would recommend if you plan on buying both for SLI at once. Are you sure your mobo supports SLI?
