the 560 is the best performance to price ratio compared to 570 and 580. i was in the same boat and ended up buying the msi 560ti twin frozr II. i highly recommend this card, 1080p and runs bfbc2 max w/o hbao at 60fps(even running through smoke and stuff blowing up). im sure bf3 will run max or close to max with the 560ti. the msi 560ti runs MUCH MUCH cooler than all the others and quieter. i believe they have a new 560ti the frozr 3/nighthawk or something like that (i cant remember the name). thats supposed to run even cooler than the tf2. they advertise 20C cooler with the tf2 and believe me this card is cool.
I say go with one and if you really need another then go buy a second one. Dont waste your money if you dont need to.

i was in the EXACT same situation as you 2 days ago... noob.. 1680x1050, hardcore BF3 in mind.... and i went for the 560 ti.. im pretty sure it will max out bf3 at 1680x1050... there really is no good reason for you to SLI or get a 580 right now unless youre swimming in money...

He's looking for 55-60 minimum FPS, that is not easy to accomplish even at 1050 and no way a single 560ti would do that. 2 460s on the other hand, would likely do that and would do that for only $270, about $50 more than a single 560ti.

OP oh yea sorry I did see that but forgot which thread I was in when I asked about the mobo before, yea I wouldn't worry about a bottleneck too much, the 920 isn't a slow CPU even at stock but ideally you would have it at 3.5Ghz or above.

I would get either a 6950 2GB (I know this is the Nvidia section) but it's one of the best bang for the buck. Faster than the GTX 560 Ti while it is slower than the GTX 570. I don't recommend the 560 Ti because you want to play Battlefield 3 at good settings and the GTX 560 Ti might not have the punch that it needs. I don't recommend the GTX 570 because according to what you told us, you may not need it (let alone a GTX 580) and it's VRMs are crap. If you want the extra punch, get either a 6970 2GB (similar performance to the GTX 570) or a non-reference GTX 570 (The twin frozr III is my recommendation, it has more VRMs and its cooler is the best on the market) especially if you want to overclock.

DO NOT OVERVOLT A REFERENCE GTX 570, IT WILL BLOW!

If you're staying away for ATI/AMD because of the "driver issues" then this is total BS and since ATI was bought by AMD, its drivers are much better and mostly on par with Nvidia. Also, if you want to SLI down the road, the ATI/AMD cards will scale better. In some games, 6950s beat 570s and 6970s average 580s (especially at 1600P or triple monitors, but that's not the case).

Do want you want but keep the recommendations is mind.

id go with the 560ti like everyone said its the best bang for the buck atm it will be a nice upgrade from your current card and there is absolutely no reason to drop good money on a big card just for a game that we dont know the final requirements to yet

You said :

For sure i dont want to buy computer parts just to show them to my friends or compare it to others on the internet,i respect people who always want to push the limits,im just not mastering computers enough to be a OC'er.

...But!!!
I dont want to buy a GTX 560 ti,and find out that some games doesnt run smooth.Because its the main reason i want to buy another video card.(Mine is out-dated and start to burn freakin hot even at 80% speed fan in newer games, while my framerate is unstable all the time...

I want DX 11,and i want improvement, even if i dont want the (best) PC out there. If its a gtx 570 that will do it,.....ill choose it over a 560ti.

i guess that 2 GTX 560ti would be crazy in SLI also....
But again....only 1gb of video ram,....GTA4 use more ....and its so old.
and correct me if im wrong, but two 560ti wont equal 2 GB of vram right?
it will still be 1 Gb??even if there's 1gb on each card??

Thanks for your link to newegg gtx 460!!!
its really the best money/power ratio i could get.
But im a little sceptic,
because the 560 ti is 220-230$,and a normal 560 is 199$

should i really choose gtx 460 over the 5**GPU serie?

Yep without a doubt. You would have to get really far out of the price range of two 460s for them to not be the best bang for the buck available to you. Here is the 460 compared clock for clock to a 560ti. You can get 2 460s for about $50 more than a single 560ti, you be the judge bu what I will tell you is most of the people recommending other things either didn't read that you wanted such high minimums or they are just recommending what they hear others recommend (560ti is new and at a mid-range price point so it must be the answer)

Did you have a specfic concern or did you just want me to repeat my opinion.
