Thank u buddy,
+1 rep

I dont think i will find a better set-up around (400$).
GTX 480 SLI......here i come!!!!

-----------------------------------------------------------
Ill just wait in case someone has a better site/offer.
But i dont think nothing can beat this price/performance.....

---------------------------------------------------------------
ill just have to test them within the 90 days of warranty...specially in SLI.
90 days can be risky....
But those have been tested and retested i guess.

If your doing ok as far as frame rates currently with your rig, and are able to live with it for another month. I would just wait until BF3 launches and there is more definitive information on which cards can run it decently.

However, if you absolutely positively need a video card right now, then either 560ti or 6950 would be my choices.

I only have the one card, but the noise and heat was... bearable. However, I removed the heatsink (just the metal part from the GPU; the rest stayed) and threw a CPU waterblock on. Now it loads in the low 50s.

ok thx!!

i know everyone suggest me a 560 TI...or to SLi them at worst case scenario.
But they only have 1GB of DDR5 VIDEO MEMORY.Buying two cards with only 1gb in late 2011 sounds unbelievable to me.

Dont forget that.....

A cheap 560 TI is around 240-250$
A b-stock gtx 480 is 215$

in my oppinion,580 would be the best solution...but i prefer two GTX 480 in SLI,...which is less expensive for two cards than one single gtx 580.
But mostly,2xGTX 480 beats every-time a single 580........and by FARR.
so ....
umm
Now the only thing is the heat problem.
Any suggestion?
