so happy my sleepless nights are paying off im gone be back benching tonight, ive managed to work out whats the story with my ram.... under 1.75v they wont go below 10-10-10-30 1t at 2230mhz but the very moment i apply 1.75 bang 9-10-9-24 1t... ive actually managed to get them to run at 8-10-8-24 1t but got a rounding up error after 7-8 loops... so maybe a bit more V? whats the max thats ok to put through ram? im gone put a corsair dual fan on them tonight? btw im gone take a break from 580s for the day and get some points with my 9800gtx+ and if there is time 8800 512gts and 8800gt

Some nice scores U getting mate.

How much v U can give Ur ram is really up to U and if U can afford buying new ones if they brake. But I have given my ram 1.82v but that didnt help any. So I would say 1.8ish(lower or higher if it scales). Buts thats me. I can afford buying new if it gets ****ed up....

Thanks Maximous

ive got two "spare" sets of ram, Corsair Dominator Gt's and Kingston HyperX T1 so id say i could live i havent applied more then 1.75 so if i go to 1.775 i should still be safe hmm?

You're tearing it up. Have you tried 01 with that memory yet, you might get a nice boost. It also seems like it's time for some sub 6min 32m .

I'm just curious on how you got the 580 to score well on am3 using xp. I can't get any fermi cards to score well in that bench with xp.

do you have d3d overrider on? it helps a lot as well as some really high lod. I actually forgot to rerun 01 yesterday i was more about trying to get some fresh scores instead of improving what ive got almost maxed out anyway its a pain how minimum global i need is 10.8 and hw 14.9 if it goes for sp32m the problem is hypers dont want to work at 2133 strap for it i can run anything else fine, but once i go below 10-10-10-30 for 32 i get a crash, not even bsod just total shut down btw im yet to install tiny 7 and tiny xp, dont have a working optical atm.... any chance you could tell me how to strip the xp ive got for the moment?
