Xai question

Hi so theres an Exactaim option that smoothes out the jitter or whatever. is this the same as "smooth mouse" ingame or is it better by any chance? because ive tried both and my sniping skills suddenly got way better. i was good before but this really stepped up my game i always thought i missed something. please explain thanks

Where do you see Exactaim? I'm looking at the SS Xai software now and don't see it. Never even heard of that option. I would assume In-Game would do the same.

i dont think its prediction because theres another tab called freemove which is prediction
post #6 of 7
Yeah, what derp said is correct. I googled exactaim, and there was a blurb in the steelseries FAQ about prediction in it, so I assumed that's what it was. Freemove is the prediction adjustment. It's admittedly been quite a while since I've used my Xai.

I still say you shouldn't use any in game smoothing, though. It can create slight input lag, which is going to cause a lot more problems than the smoothing will provide benefits.

angle snapping for the ADNS-9500 (xai sensor) is also supported by the sensors srom. however thats part of the same srom that they probably use for the sensei and never released as update for the xai.
