also to add. im running all new software and updates. The PC overclock is controlled by the motherboard and not manually inputted.

Okay:

First 62C is the absolute max temp for a 125W Thuban. It should be crashing at 60C to prevent you from damaging your hardware.

Second, do not use software OCing a la AMD Overdrive. It ain't stable. Can harm your OS. It also does not produce optimal results

Third, you are using something besides the stock cooler...I hope?

i found out the problem Qfan was stuck on silent due to windows being on power saving mode.

The overclock was built into the 890 Board. it's not softwear or a program. It's a button on the motherboard. But i'll knock it off and just let it sit at 800 instead of 3.9ghz.

after a reboot and Bois reset. My temps are now reading fine.

If you want to OC get a real cooler.
If you want to OC do it manually through the BIOS.
Those "Auto OC" crap buttons are just as bad as software.

Exactly, they tend to give too much voltage and therefore, the will cook the cpu especially with a stock cooler. If you want to do some small overclocking, I would recommend something like an Hyper 212+.

The bois is just a mass of overclocking. If the best AM3+ board out now by Asus can't overclock a pc safer then i im boned lol

Crysis 2 Misson level 7. Max Hardcore setting @ 1920x1200)
800 (power saving)
Idle 23C
Gaming 48C (Qfan suggested 90% fan)

3910 (ASUS O.C)
Idle 26
Gaming 52C (qfan off 100%)
