There are advantages that suit me a lot on the G1.Sniper 2... First off the Onboard stuff is GREAT and that is why it cost more... basically it is an average board with toys built into it and I like that kind of advantage. Its cool because the board supports a 3 Year Warranty and this may be good or bad depending on how you look at it. The extra space not having to install another sound card or extra NIC is cool because you could use the extra space to expand or have it ready for next gen tech. Which should be good for anyone looking for that sort of thing. I am a fan of Future proof and I have to admit this thing does it! >_<

It depends on your needs as you can get a Z68X-UD3H-B3 and a high end Creative card instead and still get the extra ports for VGA, DVI & DP if you want/need them as a backup for a just in case your graphics card/s fails situation. Both boards will still do the same job (minus the phase power) but if you're on a budget then get the Z68X-UD3H-B3 now and the sound card later on.

I will admit though, that board does look awesome, especially if you want it for an nvidia build!

Should of been at least a tri-Crossfire/SLI mobo for that price...Then it would of been a little more tempting.

^ this. For the price it should be quad sli/crossfire, but I have to admit that the colour scheme looks pretty awesome...

I couldn't agree more! Yes it would need the help of the NF200 chip but that would help justify the board's price honestly. As it stands, the price is just overrated when you're only increasing the phase power and adding on an high end on-board sound card without giving it anything else to say "hey! look at me I'm AWESOME & here's why!"

Instead of having the 2 PCI slots, those should have been 2 PCI-e 2.0 x16 (x8 electric) and have 1 PCI or PCI-e in between them to make it tri SLI/CFX.

Most people don't use multi-card so I can understand...but the lack of Sata ports is annoying.

here is my review on the board : http://www.overclock.net/intel-mothe...-2-review.html

I don't understand about lack of SATA ports?
it uses all of them? 4 SATA3G from PCh are black, two are angles, one is eSATA in the back, and th elast i pointing straight out, then it uses 2 SATA6G from PCH, and then 2 SATA6G from marvell.
