Asus 6870 Reference - Page 2

That's not worth it. I'd offer the Sapphire AMD 6870 reference card but Newegg stopped selling them or they are no longer being made by Sapphire.

My other suggestion for reference would be the XFX AMD 6870 version for $189.99 with free shipping. Even throwing in a ShoGun game for free right now as of tonight. $100 less than that ASUS reference rip off.

yeah i saw that xfx card on newegg and i think i am going to go with them $100 cheaper

but those asus 6870 aftermarket models have awesome cooler. You'll be much happier with direct CU model.

I prefer Asus over XFX because serial # based warranty is a lot easier to sell.
If you're going to keep it more than 3 years, XFX might be a good choice though.

ok cool but does peeling off the stickers void the warranty at all?? cause i had the same idea to pull of the stickers

i have a his reference and just got a diamond oc verion (still has referance cooler with red stripes) the diamond is the main card in xfire and stays 5degrees cooler at same fan speed
