No right now I have 2x f3 in raid 0 that has my windows 7 on. When I get my ssd and plug it in and unplug my f3's. So after I install windows on ssd and replug my f3, how could I format the f3. Am I going to run into problems because both drives have windows on them?

I don't know if having the OS installed on different drives causes a problem or not. I've read information saying both, with no definitive answer.

Personally, I would reformat and start fresh to avoid issues. I didn't run into that problem since I started from scratch.

Well my question is how can I format those raid drives once I replug them back in?
Do I just go in windows right click and format?

I believe that's essentially it. Here's a link to someone trying to do what you are and it seems pretty straightforward. They installed OS, then reformatted array in Windows.

Hope it helps,

The problem is having things like superfetch and defrag on is actually BAD for the SSD...you aren't doing it to save space.
