overall, very close to the same, I guess 580 would rule it in the end. altrough, the card is easy overclocked, but then again, 580 is as well.

but you will get the most out of your money by going CF 6850/70.

altrough, I would go SLI 460, adding a extra card with a 460 gives you about 80% boost.

That is a-lot-of-power for your bucks!

I've had 6870 CF and it was amazing. But, you get a lot of flickering from driver issues.
So id go for the GTX580 if i was you

A pair of 6850s in CF are about equal to a 580. 6870s in CF would be faster, and cheaper.

HD6850 CF , GTX 460 SLI ~ single GTX 580.
HD6870 CF is faster than GTX 470 SLI which is faster than single GTX 580.
So HD6870 CF will beat a single GTX 580 by ALOT.

Gtx 580, imo powerfull single gpu card vs CF/SLI ( no driver issues)
A single equal or more powerful card is always a better option (imo), because you leave yourself the option for cf/sli down the road.

What the.. 560 Ti beats 6870 and yet 560 Ti SLi is only a tiny bit better than single 580..

single card is always better on the min frams per second. I have CF 5850 and love them, but a more powerful single card is always better.
I'd go 6870cf in almost every instance EXCEPT if you need higher vram (I'm assuming you're talking about 1gb models). Then again, it might still be cheaper to go 2gb 6870 xfire even at that.
