Powersupply questions - Page 2

Oh didn't know Raidmax was garbage. I guess that price was too good to be true. I don't plan on overclocking either since I don't know how.

Like the way it works out is. My little sisters computer is getting really outdated and I was going to upgrade my own anyway. So I figured I could give her my parts so we can play the upcoming games together. That first rig is basically the rig I have now except that I will need the Corsair PSU for my new one and bought that Antec for her.

I'm guessing case fans, etc. wouldn't make much of a difference in terms of power consumption. You guys/girls ar ereally fast what a great forum. So glad I found it. Thanks so much everyone. So if both are good I'll stick with them then

PS: Incase it makes a diff here are the mobos for both computers.

Yeah I already have that Corsair. I explain it in the above post

Back when my ex got me that one he said it was one of the better brands. So is that Antec supposed to be better?

Not 'better' or 'worse' but they both the same... good brand ... its like what better? Audi or BMW?

The one i showed you very reliable and will handle your SLI 570s just fine. Its on sale right now ..for 65 buxs after rebates...the best "value" 750 watt psu right now...

Alrighty. I've had this powersupply for about...a year. I don't do anything on the computer besides games, web browsing, and some photoshop. Would it be good to go for a long while? If it's a dumb question sorry lol. I just know how to build them and configure. I'm not really savvy with all the technical stuff.

Oh PS: Sometimes when I turn off my comp I can still hear that Corsair PSU fan spinning for about a 30 seconds after shut down. Does that mean it's going bad? Or is that normal.

By the way. I'm just curious. How much better is this power supply compared to my Corsair?

I know it's the same wattage and I'm not gonna buy it of course but was just curious.
