I love my led 120hz (1st one on market) alot better then the 27 inch one i had before. I love it Colors are good closer to plasma then any other monitor i had (besides crt ) ALot better then the isp monitor i had. Colors are a little washed out but like isp one .

turns out its not. in fact ive fallen in with some of the others here who say IPS is the way to go. It really is "very" nice.

The bigger concern with gaming displays imo is input lag followed by response time. 120hz is just a nice extra, but at what cost ? many of them really have horrible colors and uniformity if you line them up next to higher quality displays.

even these 2412m's that I bought, which are considered very budget IPS compared to whats out there really are noticeably nicer.

just my two cents.. i honestly love both, im just not as serious about the gaming as I used to be.

same here.
I am used to dell u3011 ips panel and acer hn274h colors are just not good enough for me. All I can say is that it's all personal preference. Some ppl prefer better colored IPS panel and some ppl prefer fast 120hz monitor over IPS panel.
