Im looking for a new monitor for gaming and have been looking at this, thoughts.

As an owner I will recommend this one. It doesn't have the best image quality among all monitors, but definitely one of the best of it's kind.
Good priced, not full of useless features, it's beautiful and very slim.
Response time is suitable for gaming.

From my POV you won't regret it, unless you have extra money to go for an IPS monitor.
