Google Chrome keyboard volume keys not working

Hey all so I switched from firefox to chrome the only issue i am having is that for example when i am on youtube and try to lower/increase/mute the volume using my keyboard buttons it never works. I have to go to the desktop or manually change the volume using the slider. Is this a bug that google knows about? because I did a search and others also have this issue.

Maybe it's a think of your keyboard.
On my desktop when I use the volume keys it controls youtube's volume. On my brother's it controls the windows volume. Both play/pause buttons work on youtube.
We have different keyboards.

If it really annoys you, you could change windows registry or use a tool, so you can change your key bind from "global volume", for example, to something like "media volume".

I did a google search and a lot of people have this issue with chrome and youtube videos. Some even go back to 09 seems like google doesn't care about it
