Is this okay for GTX 570 SLI?

Heya guys, I'm planning a new rig with 570's in SLI, 8 gigs of ram, and either a 2500k or 2600k processor.

Is this 800 watt Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold good?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...%20Gold%20800W

Or should I go with this 1000 watt

The Silent Pro Gold is not a very good PSU. This one is one of the bests if not the best 750w: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817151087

I'd go for the Seasonic one above, since it is one of the best (of it not, the best) PSUs around in terms of quality wise.

That's not to say CM don't make good PSUs (their OEM is "Enhance") but you may as well play it safer with a better PSU, especially if you're going SLI and don't want to run into any potential power issues.

Would the 750 watts be enough though?

Also, what about that 1000 watt raidmax I linked? ( edited my post for it). It's such a great price for a 1000 watt or is it too good to be true? I read HardOcps review for it and while they weren't too thrilled with it they recommended it in the end.

750w is more than enough (a 650w from corsair, antec, seasonic or silverstone would probably do...) and that 1000w unit honestly looks like crap. The X-750 is the best and it's only 139,99$ with the code so go for it! The only reason for which you'd need that 1000w is with a 990x with 580s highly oc'd under water or with 3 570s.

im sure the x750 from seasonic could handle it but to be on the safe side i would go with x850 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817151102
I learned PSUs are something you don't want to skimp on. You end up having to replace lesser ones either for malfunction or for upgrades, and it ends up costing you more then if you would have just bought the quality one out of the gate.

Okay guys I will go with the Seasonic thank you! Now I'm just wondering whether to go with the 750 watt or 850. Should I spend the extra money for that 100 watt headroom?

Also, if you don't mind me asking. Why is that Raidmax 1000 watt so bad? Just curious.

Oh and sorry but before I make the purchase.

What about this one?

that is another good psu on the same level as corsair or seasonic

its not that raidmax is bad per say but their business practices are shady

that psu cant hit gold on its best day the only reason they got the gold rating is by sending a psu that looks the same as that but with different internals that can do gold efficiency, then they changed the internals of that psu for the general public with lower quality internals that cant do gold to save its life thats why we dont like raidmax its like they dresses a kia up as a mercedes and are trying to sell it as a mercedes after showing you a real mercedes

Oh wow. I read that it didn't hit the mark but didn't realize that's what they did. Yeah I'd rather take my business elsewhere.

If that NZXT I linked is just as good as the ones you guys mentioned I'd like to get that since it will match my case. I found it cheaper on Amazon too.

Thanks for the help you guys. Fast responses and very helpful. +rep to all
