Yea I know.

I wanted the TF2 items though. 8 items is a nice bonus since I have been playing it a bit lately to kill boredom

Damn should have done that~ oh well 44 bucks is a steal for a triple A title like this.

Just finished the beta leak a SECOND time~ and did COMPLETELY different things. The last section which I hated so much, I ended up stealthing it~ and damn was I surprised how many different ways you can handle a situation. I mean it's not like, infinite options~ but more than I expected.

This to me is Metal Gear, with Mass Effect like comms and a Blade Runner world. It's not talky like Metal Gear though~ and the stealth gameplay is awesome. There's no real replacement for CQCs since the only melee is takedowns~ and once you're spotted, you better be ready for a fight.

This game has a lot of undertones of "Thief" as well~ if you've ever played that. I'm NOT surprised Eidos Montreal is working on Thief 4. When you play stealth in this game, it just has all of those elements in place. Especially with the options to sap an enemy instead of just killing them.

I might do another playthrough where I'm just a juggernaut of offensive capabilities. Instead of stealth and hacking I'll try the offensive approach, and see how that works. I'd have to live off the edge of my inventories nuts'~ because ammo is scarce in this game.

Luckily, this game is amazing when it comes to difficulty level. Even on the HARDEST difficulty~ enemies still only take 2-3 solid bullets (armor comes into effect tho~). Like, I was shocked~ all hardest mode does is give you a bit less health (kind of like the enemies) and makes them smarter. Hacking is harder too~

But they don't give enemies like way more health or add more of them~ they just boost the AI. Which is~ damn sweet really.

Seriously though, if it's anything like the original Deus Ex in terms of options and styles, this game will be awesome. The first level alone contains so many different ways of approaching your goal that I played the demo I got (just the first level) from PC Gamer for 6 hours.

That picture is pretty accurate.

In any case, I have a hard copy pre ordered. Can't wait till 10am to pick it up.
