I'll put it this way. I'm looking to make money with my camera. I have most of my business aspect down in a nutshell. One thing I love is SquareUp(app to manage receipts/card reader). Android and iPad use it. I think the iPad may have more features(not a big deal though).
I want to use this tablet device to show customers some of my works. I wanna be able to easily transfer images to the tablet(SD card attachment, USB dongle, idc). Whatever is easiest, and preserves the most quality while displayed on the device. I feel like the iPad 2 is a clear cut winner, with maybe the Galaxy Tab closing in. I don't care if this tablet can do Angry Birds in HD, it's going to be strictly business.
i dont knwo what your business plan is like, but generally you wouldnt want to show your clients just raws from camera instead it would the "creme dela creme" of your portfolio. From specification any tablet will do the job since it will only be from the gallery or a webpage.
but the ipad2 definitely has more of a "Chic/Wow" factor, which may make you look more trendy or in the know. for presentation only i would use a ipad2. if i had to use it for say a laptop replacement for a shoot then any android with a USB port, i have already a few times dumped images to my tablet since i ran out of memory on my memory cards.Edited by mz-n10 - 8/22/11 at 2:38pm
