Hey,

I'm going to be purchasing my first SSD later today, and I can't decide between these 3

I'm leaning a bit towards the M4

Lean all the way toward the m4. The Vertex 3, according to it's maker, has problems with p67 chipsets which is what your motherboard has.

M4. It is proven to be reliable and lightning fast. (I got the 120Gb version) and it just blazes past the Caviar Black (which I used for my old boot drive).

The Vertex 3 might be faster (in stats) but it isnt really very that much faster in real life situations, in your case, as a boot drive. And there have been recorded issues with it. It is also more expensive.

C300, cant really comment, never used it before.

I personally have the C300 and have nothing but great things to say about it. It has literally been one of the best upgrades that I have ever done to my computer. If I had the choice of those three though, I would go with the M4, simply because the write speeds are better on it.

Good choice.

I have the Vertex 3 and a P67 mobo. But I think I'm one of the golden few with no issues. *knock on wood*

But if I could go back I'd get the Intel 510 just because I don't like OCZ anymore.
