GTX 560 TI SOC, GTX 560 Ti SC, GTX 570 SC

Hello, I read a lot on newegg that the Gigabyte GTX 560 TI SOC is very unstable and that most people have to down clock it for it to work, esp when playing games.=/. Any feedback on that? I really want to pick this over the EVGA GTX SC 570 since its pricy but I'm scared about these common problems. I was wondering if i shoud just go for the EVGA GTX 560 TI SC if all other options fail.
Here's future build specs:
i7-2600k
ASUS P8p67 deluxe
Rosewell Extreme 850w
G.Skill Sniper 8GB 1600
Thermaltake Frio
HAF 922
WD Blue 500GB
I have a 720 32' Tv right now but the TV I'll be replacing soon for something 40', 1080p, and 120Hz. Thank for any help ahead of time. =)

Its possible but who cares about newegg reviews all that much?..

Just get any stock clocked (or mildly overclocked) GTX 560 and save yourself some money. Go for the regular Gigabyte GTX 560 Ti, or the MSI Twin Frozr II/III or ASUS DCII, as the latest revision of the SOC doesn't look too pretty and the cooler is a bit more of a "cheaper" design.

Most GTX 560 Ti's easily hit ~950Mhz with a bump in voltage so its all well and good.

The Gigabyte SOC cards do come with an insane memory OC, which may be why they've been having so many issues.

There have been a few reports of Gigabyte 560 Tis having issues here as well: http://www.overclock.net/nvidia/1095...0-ti-died.html

Like Raz said, I'd just grab a 560 Ti with a good board and solid cooling (the MSI Hawk and Asus DCU2 are two of the best in that regard) and OC it accordingly. 950-1000MHz core on air is fairly average.

Hey man, i have a gigabyte 560 ti OC, not the SOC and it's very stable i haven't had any problems with it at all. I'm not sure about the SOC but i do love my Gigabyte OC 560 ti.
