Loosen tRFC and set command rate to 2, if possible.

You may also need a bit more vDIMM.

I have no idea what values are acceptable for tRFC. I've never been able to tighten my timings before without lockups.

Is that the FSB Termination voltage? I've never raised that. What is an acceptable level? Currently at 1.26

CPU Termination voltage. Should be okay to go up a notch to the next volage in the step.

You need an overnight run of memtest to be sure, one or two passes isn't enough.

I'll run memtest overnight tonight.

ok I've increased vtt by .02 to 1.28. error in worker 3 after about 5 mins (doing Blends). should i keep creeping that up? to what level?

edit: at 1.30, instant worker 1 error. also for testing purposes, vtt @ 1.36 causes bsod.
It almost seems like increasing vtt is making the problem worse?

Okay, that didnt work

Go back to your original Vtt and lower your CPU clocks one notch. What NBv are you running now?

Currently testing the 2 new sticks alone in memtest with all bios settings back to default. I will reload my OC tomorrow assuming no errors tonight.

I was/am running NBv of 1.3

If your just testing 2 x sticks, your NBv can come down to where you had it before. Being higher may give erronious results in MEMtest.

Good luck man, this is a tedious and thankless chore.

You're using the yellow slots now, aren't you?

From what I seen on the Corsair forums, the experts time and time again to never "add" additional ram. They only recommend that you add them as a "matched" set.
