A 470 needs hefty amounts of overclocking and overvolting just to keep pace with a stock 570.

570s @ 845 core are about on par with 470s at 900 core.
If it the OP was talking about air cooling there would be more worth in the 570, however as soon as water cooling is mentioned all the "problems" of GF100 melt away, or should I say freeze up?
Neither card is a bad choice, however don't downplay 470s as bad, power hungry, loud, hot, slow, or anything negative in a thread where the OP is talking about water cooling it.Edited by BallaTheFeared - 8/23/11 at 12:02pm
