Vagrant, yeah, I've had that happen to me in the past. On this case though, I have a CPU cutout on the back of the case and I can see that the fan pegs are sticking out on the other side of the mobo.

A little update guys. I bought the CM Hyper 212 Plus and some Arctic Cooling MX-4 compound and installed them. In BIOS the CPU temp dropped by 30C. My idle temp is now 37C and 57C while playing Bad Company 2. I think that's quite an improvement from 85C+ while playing BC2. Very happy with the results. Also, the game felt somewhat faster. It might be all in my head but I think I'm finally seeing Turbo in action. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions.

Edit: I tested under 100% load for 5 minutes and the temps don't go above 63C which is nice.
Edit2: The game plays a lot smoother now, no hicups, but the fastness I noticed was due to my internet. It didn't improve performance that much.
