It should indeed be such a pain, now wait.
If a sniper is sniped in the belly, he will be able to shoot again ?
I shoot you, I hurt you and yet you are still zoomed in and ready to fire ?

Yeahh right, I thought BF was real, not OUCH I RECEIVED A BULLET I SHOULD REPLY WITH MINE.
Mate, it's a game. A computer game. It's not real life, it's not a sim. It's a game. No need to get so whiney about it!

My opinion is... this has always been the case for BF games. I care not.

If they want it to be OHKO to the head only, remove the sway and also the shake when you pull it up. With a one hit bodyshot, amplify the magnitude of those things, and reduce them while the bipod is deployed. While it wasn't too hard in the alpha to get kills, it was still a lot harder, than say the GOL was in BC2.

EDIT: Chinese go get your grenade platinum star!
The GOL was widely considered the noobiest of non semi auto sniper rifles due to it needing less bullet drop compensation so its probably not the best rifle to use for your argument.

Also, it has no sway.

Haha! It's a LMG! I generally use it for forcing people into cover, which is why I'm liking the suppression in BF3! I generally see someone, say poping their head out of a window, spot them and then pound that window with bullets forcing them into cover. Generally when I'm playing medic I'm running around leaving people medic kits and reviving. I love playing a support role!

I'm not really calling for realism, personally, otherwise like you say all guns should be 1/2 shot kills. But in any event, a sniper rifle shot to the upper body should be a one hit kill. A shot to the neck and such ought to be a one hit kill all the same. Otherwise it's like saying there should be no splash damage from rockets because you didn't actually hit the person.

And also, like I said, it's no deal breaker for me. It's no different to how BC2 is now.

bullet drop compensation is the same for all sniper rifles. Confirmed by DICE.

Also the recoil and kick is the same for all blot actions sniper rifles.

I seriously don't like the GOL. I'm told it's the best rifle in the game, but I just can't use it like I can use the SV98. Even the really big .50 rifles I can't really get to like. They feel too clunky and take too much time inbetween shots. I guess I'm just spoilt by the SV98.

It's generally not need in BC2 tbh. burst firing with a LMG is more accurate, particularly with the T88. Anyway, same here, I go extra medic pack distance and faster heal perks when defending on Rush playing as a medic when it's say a tough objective to defend.

Considering bipods are an attachment, I wouldn't mine having it be crouching only w/ one hit body shot, or a very sloppy scope in when you're standing up. Although I'd rather just have sniper rifles zoom in smoothly with one hit headshots, multiple hit bodyshots. Keeps 420anal69MLGbongscopes away.

I know. It's the same with all the weapons really. You get the most accurate fire from bursts. But my point was usually with LMG's I'm not playing for kills That's why I've fired about 12k shots and only killed 200 people!
