[MP1st] BF3 No One Hit Body Kills with Snipers, More Weapon Recoil, and More - Page 28

I don't mind snipers being one-hit killers. But it shouldn't be so easy to be a one-hit killer. Hitting someone from half-map+ should be much, much harder than it is.

Casual gameplay has ruined gaming...
Why not call it a PC Casual or "Casualing" instead of Gaming.
inb4 "sniper are mad, because we'll soon have the same idiots that say that whine about the next update that says rockets don't one-hit-kill non vehicle enemies.
Then the snipers will say "enginers are mad".

It doesn't matter if it's a SIM or not, BF3 is loosing it's own name for each new game.
The next CoD and BF will probably go so casual that even todays crappy casual players will "whine" about it then the even more casual people will tell the less casual that they are complaining.

Future names for our current Poor Casual games:
Bucket Farts 4
Can of Derp: Mega Whining 4
The only person whining here is the self professed hardcore gamer though. I'd prefer either of those games, than the Hypocrisy Edition you so desperately want to make.

Sorry there isn't a "Push MB1 to Kill Player" option under your scoped reticle. You're just going to have to learn to freaking aim if you want your instant kill.

Is that hard? No confidence in your skill? I thought you weren't casual.

Learn. To. Aim. Be. Hardcore.

That cool with you?

I really don't want to be rude, but this complaining is ridiculous. I'm seeing a lot of people I otherwise respect for other posts on this board post inane drivel here. It's a freaking video game. There are balancing rules. There HAS to be!

The next time you complain about the realism of a bullet hitting someone on the chest killing them~ I hope to heaven and back you don't hear about paddles reviving someone who just got hit by rocket, or a dude repairing an APC from the brink of total meltdown with a freaking wrench. You'll go ballistic!

How do you even explain these gameplay concepts outside of "it's a video game"... so does that reasoning just, go out the window when it comes to sniping?

You guys are TOO smart to be complaining about this.

Motion mines are sonic waves that can penetrate walls, can sense the change in air and sound.

Understand?

I think all games should have 1 shot sniper kills. Its really annoying when your take the time to scope in and aim down your target and get a hit-marker, especially when your adding bullet travel with moving enemies.

Keep your comment ordered next time and don't bring other peoples comments to mine.
I already have an image that shows how it would be if you got revived by a paddle (zombies).
I don't particularly like the medic god powers so -1 point for you for false assumptions.
I only play hard core servers and I'm not a person that has no life outside battlefield so I don't claim to be pro ( I think I'm level 16, and I got it at release, that's how anti-24/7 gamer I am).
While you're at it why don't you play My Little Pony instead.
Server settings should be placed in the players (admins) hands.

But since there is no way you can do that anymore thanks to mod-free games nowadays I guess My Little Pony is enough for you.
Don't mix with the series, because that would be disrespectful for our OCN bronies.
BF1942 with Desert Combat mod is still top tier when it comes to warfare with vehicles, planes, boats, tanks, HEALTH FRIGGING BARS and best of all, no regenerating health for the casual diaper players.

The problem with 1 shot/1 kill sniping in these types of games is simple. As far as I know, no environmental factors have any effect on bullet trajectory. For the most part, the bullets seem to go in a straight line until they hit someone, something, or fly beyond the boundries of the map and disappear.

I know the BF series is not a sim, but until environmental factors like wind, distance to target, and at longer ranges, the coreollis effect have an impact on your sniper shots, they probably shouldn't be one shot one kill, outside of a headshot.

On the other hand, I also fully accept the argument that while a shot to the body may not kill you, you certainly will NOT be running around, jumping, shooting, sprinting, etc. At the very least you will get the wind knocked out of you, or you will be on your ass in agonizing pain.

I'm pretty sure a 50 Cal. round would put you out of action quite quickly it would rip a hole in you!! Even 30 Cal. and you'd be screwed.. I am pretty sure even an SMG round to the chest would put you out of action unless you had body armour of course.

That reminds me of a video I saw a few years back. It was captured footage from Iraq, from the perspective of where the terrorist sniper was. The sniper shot the chest of a US solider, and the impact made him flip backwards onto his back. But then he quickly scrambled back up, ran behind the Humvee he was next to, and began sweeping the horizon for the sniper.

TL;DR - Body armor does wonders.
