ACTUALLY~ there's a guide out there that tested TIMs alongside Lipstick~ and found Lipstick, while worse than all of them DID work~ and prevented it from overheating. It was actually functional. No clue what happens once it dried in a few days~ but it worked!

Just go upstairs to your mom's room and borrow her lipstick~ it'll work great.

Just buy some thermal paste at Best Buy or Radio Shack or get the best ones online like Artic Silver 5.

i have used toothpaste in a pinch... and temps were fine... machine ran over 2 months before i replaced it... with no damage to the heatspreader or heatsink...

also got to freak a friend out when i wanted to replace it, just licked off the toothpaste which was still soft...
