No I am not. I am actually running the ram at around 1400 Mhz right now with the voltage at 1.58v.

Don't think it's the SSD. The SSD holds the OS and if it faults at boot it is because it is not recognized.

I eliminated all the SSD issues by turning off all sleep modes/ auto down voltage in the bios and it has ran great for awhile.

When I first tried out my x58 G1.Sniper Mobo it was doing those same exact things and I didn't even OC it.. I even tried setting the board to read 24GBs of ram at 1600 (Which Later on I found out that it can only do lower speeds @ 24GBs of ram "1333" so... remember that) Those boards are VERY tricky to get going... it could be a number of things.

First I would recheck that ram , I know you lowered the speed because you wanted a better OC for the processor and stability. But, instead try making the ram run with the XMP at its normal functions and turn off the unnecessary settings in your BIOS.

Also! you will want to check your secondary BIOS and make it so you are able to get back to your original settings.

I am sure you may have done this already.

This makes me wonder if I had defective board in the first place ( My first G1.Sniper Mobo is a long story, to make it short.. "*** THERMAL COMPOUND IN THE CPU BAY!!! " ... "OMG NO WAY BENT PINS TOO!" )

-Fail -_-

But if those were issues already I should have most likely sent mines back.

Keep it up and if it don't work get another... or check the RAM and all that good stuff
