GTX 560 Ti Resolution problems - Page 3

I know you said dont ask, but why 720p?? :S

Id take 1080p with lower settings over 720p with higher settings any day...

Lowering resolutions should always be a last resort... Native resolution will always look better than a lower resolution with higher settings

In my opinion at least!

Make sure the scaling mode it set to GPU and also(if wanted) override scaling set by games and applications
I don't see that on the control panel.

Thanks kill, It worked! Its not quite 720p but I can run my games 30FPS faster now and i loose about 1/4 inch of view but aspect ratio fixes that.

Now BF3 will be faster and better to run.

Posting in this thread as well:

I've been having a lot of issues with my 560ti, temperature problems, fps drops in some games due to particle effects (150fps to 30fps in FireFall for example) and now I cannot lower my resolution in games from my native 1080p without losing half the screen.

I have tried most of the suggestions found in this thread: http://www.overclock.net/t/1098770/gtx-560-ti-resolution-problems - as it seems to be a similar issue to mine.
However nothing has worked so far.

I'm fairly certain that this is not a monitor issue, I've tried running separate games on another monitor and I'm still getting the same problem.
I've updated my drivers today.

Please help!!
