Posting in this thread as well:
I've been having a lot of issues with my 560ti, temperature problems, fps drops in some games due to particle effects (150fps to 30fps in FireFall for example) and now I cannot lower my resolution in games from my native 1080p without losing half the screen.
I have tried most of the suggestions found in this thread: http://www.overclock.net/t/1098770/gtx-560-ti-resolution-problems
- as it seems to be a similar issue to mine.
However nothing has worked so far.
I'm fairly certain that this is not a monitor issue, I've tried running separate games on another monitor and I'm still getting the same problem.
I've updated my drivers today.
