My new rig :D Comment on what you think!

Thread Starter
So I am getting a new rig for mainly gaming/ 3D sculpting and I have 3k to spend. I originally post on OC for a good build and then I tweaked it a bit and came up with this. I only need one new monitor and no speakers. Comment on if you think it is a good build and what I should improve on.

Keep in mind that I am just getting into this building your own PC so I am not that great with all the computer terms and what not.

Also I am not POSITIVE if all these parts are compatible but I am almost certain they are. If someone could please comment on that I would appreciate it.

I would scrap the 2600 i7 and go for the 2500k or if you want to just get the 2600k. they are both unlocked for overclocking

It looks like it's all compatible, but since you're getting a P67 board, I presume you want to overclock which means you need the i7-2600K. The non-K version's multipliers are locked and you won't be able to OC it. Since you want to do 3d sculpting, I guess you'll be able to take advantage of the hyper-threading.

Everything else looks decent, but I am not familiar with your PSU.

Just my 2c worth...hope it helps,

Rich
