I was on stream and it had a SteelSeries shape, glowing orange scroll wheel but the guy who was covering the event said it was definitely NOT the Sensei, and he was testing a mouse from SteelSeries.

Delpan actually used Xai ruse before (and imo 1.1 before that), and since all pro gamers rely on their muscle memory I find it hard to believe that he would switch to Kana even for testing purposes when he could've switched to Sensei which would practically mean no adjusting or getting used to the new mouse. Also, get right says that delpan tried blowing into the sensor, and why would he do that with an optical mouse?

I'll only confirm that the Kana is Optical.

He actually switched to Sensei, he posted on hltv.org forum.
Pro gamers can change mice with ease, it doesn't REALLY matter for them.
Just look at GeT_RiGhT (the one being interviewed), in order: IME 3.0, Xai, Kinzu, Sensei. He played really good with all.
I never said that Delpan used the Kana. It may have been another SteelSeries fine product.

Most of these questions have been answered in earlier post, or more specifically by kimrom himself.

I have a test model, but i've been asked not to share information. Sorry frown.gif

I wouldn't use get_right as a role model, because he plays with ~1200 DPI (400 x 2.9 ingame). With that sensitivity you can use whatever sensor you want, it won't affect your aiming much. Look at f0rest! He uses kinzu for several years now and he is one of the best aimers (400 x 3.5 ingame). We all know how "good" that sensor really is.
Nix0n said "actually wasn't the Sensei, but an upcoming product". He used the same phrase when markeloff first played with Sensei, so he must have an idea about the SS products. Must be Kana or Kinzu V.2.

When everything else fails, you try stupid things like blowing into an optical sensor biggrin.gif

That makes me feel much better rolleyes.gif Can you atleast tell us if you're using it as your primary mouse? Is it what you were looking for?

Maybe offtopic but event that all talking about here called Samsung Euro Championship 2011 (SEC11) it's coming right now in Poland and on hltv.org one guy from Poland wrote next comment in thread about interview with get_right: "he's weird. Delpan used sensei in showmatch, than he started playing in group stage with upcouming SS product whiches name I don't remember (kana or kena), then he switched it to sensei which was also not working properly and then he played with ie 3.0 tongue.gif He has ADHD btw."

It is easier to switch mice than it is to switch DPI for us. Although, mouse prediction is a hard thing for those who learned without it. I can aim decently with prediction but it'll never be the same as my aim without it.

Get_right said when he (delpan) swiped really fast, the cursor flipped up and down. It looks like he was hitting the malfunction speed, although that's a weird behavior. In my experience, when this happens, the cursor just freezes. But this guy plays with very low sensitivity so it may not mean anything. I still have high hopes for Kana and if Skylit says he likes the sensor and he uses the mouse, that's all i need to hear biggrin.gif

My aim is pretty much the same, with or without it. I can notice prediction as soon as i touch the mouse (i don't even need to draw lines in paint anymore), but in the "heat of battle" it makes no difference to me. Of course if i have to choose, i'll take no/low prediction every time.
