Nice find! Side-by-side photos, definitely give the impression, the G400 is more evolutionary than revolutionary, making a good mouse, the MX518, better.

Something fishy going on here.

I think this dude got a G400 with an A3080E and cheap no name switches for scroll+ sides.

I kinda want to open mine up right now, but I don't have replacement feet.

I'm wondering what size will Kana be. Same as Xai or more like Kinzu? Think I measured it to be same as Xai from the mouse 1.1 vote pictures, but hoping I'm wrong.

My fingers: ~11cm/~12.5cm (where they touch the surface on mouse). Also how mouse(Xai) curves I lose:
-~1.5cm, if I place center.
-~2.5cm, if I place like people usually hold it, but it's too far behind for me. I can't reach scrollwheel x-x.

Been looking at Razer Abyssus, but it doesn't have side buttons and it's quite heighty, if Kana is ~smallish with side buttons, would be great

the 2 versions (A3080E an S3095) should not matter, as this should be the same hardware/srom for the sensor just different markings.

regarding the switches, well this does matter. however omron is a great brand and very reliable, but the big range in operating force and return force makes it a little bit like russian roulette . if you are lucky - perfect, if you have bad luck, well maybe you are not so sorry about the other switches .

there are rumors that logitech and also microsoft approved in fact several more unknown switch brands for their products, maybe that is one of them.

PS: in europe the sensor will be probably differently marked (if it is indeed pixart). PAN is limited to certain markets. should not affect performance at all.

TTC. Price point issue.

That's totally accurate. We will do the same with Kinzu v2, there will be a "normal" version and a "pro" version.

Bigger than Kinzu, smaller than Sensei.
