Is there a good memory tester I can run in Windows that obviously test memory but memory only?

You can use Memtest from windows, but keep in mind that you are using memory with an OS loaded. It's much better to use something like Memtest86 on bootup.

Memtest in the OS is not recommended because you're already hogging a lot of memory. To do a much more reliable test, run it on a USB/CD and boot with it, alternativly run Large FFT's on prime95 which is pretty much the same as the OS memtest.

Memtest86 is only really useful to see if memory is outright defective; it's a really poor stress tester.

Programs like Prime95 (blend) and HCI Memtest for Windows, are much better at actually seeing if a memory/memory controller OC are stable.
