HD Display upgrade for Asus G74 BB version?

I've seen posts regarding replacement screens for the best buy G73 laptop....going from a 1600 x 900 to a 1920 x 1080 screen without issue. I just bought the G74 best buy version and was hoping to do the same with this model. Has anybody done this before? I can't seem to find a new screen that's specific for this model....only the G73. They are the same size though...are they the same screen, perhaps? Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Ok, I have an update to my question. I called Laptopscreen.com, the company I've heard most order their screens from, and I was told that the screens are, in fact, interchangeable between the G73 and G74. However, I was told that the screen may not work because the cable from the video card may be different and may not be able to support higher resolution. This seems odd because the regular (non-bestbuy version) of my laptop has the same video card (Nvidia GTX560m) as the one I have, so it would seem it would work alright.

Now, any suggestions? Has anyone upgraded their screens and do you have any advice? Has anyone damaged their GPU by doing this upgrade? I'll take advice, even if you don't have a clear-cut answer :-)

Thanks!

Cable may be needed.

As far as the risks of upgrading resolution: if you game at higher resolutions, you'll be pushing your gfx chip hotter than it would run originally. So a cooling pad or not running intensive 3D games over prolonged time would be something to consider.
