I think I actually took a performance hit

0009

Or is it because I changed to a newer version of AS SSD?

I was so close to getting the 128GB Crucial M4 CT128M4SSD2CCA but backed out because of its lower read speeds and no drive bay bracket. Also from the reviews showing that the OCZ Vertex 3 is the top performer. I didn't expect the release of a firmware update on the crucial M4 and its making me a little jealous.

My first SSD, I got the OCZ Vertex 3 for $200 before crucial released new firmware.
This is Firmware v2.11 and 6Gbps

Not a clue. I assume you are using a SATAII port and not SATAIII.

Nice. My LAN box has the same setup. My primary rig has two 128s. You have to love the load times. I can never go back. I recall during the BF2 days loading with 2 raptors in raid. That was fast then. This setup is 3 times faster.

I downloaded the file and don't know what to do with it. It opened with WinZip but there are eight items listed in it, none of which are listed as .iso, unless they're talking about the seven that are listed under "Path" as BOOT\\ISOLINUX\\. I don't have Linux. I use Windows 7.
What kind of cd burning software are they talking about? All I've ever used is built into Windows.
I'm afraid I'm gonna brick this thing since I really have no idea what they're talking about. It almost looks like updating a BIOS with a floppy. I never could do that, either. I could only update a BIOS when ASUS came out with their updating tool.
It says "Burn CD/DVD" in WinZip but a message comes up that I have to upgrade to the PRO version. I could swear that that is what I bought from NewEgg.
I found some software called FreeIsoBurner, http://www.freeisoburner.com/, but it doesn't work either.
