[Crucial] m4 0009 Firmware is out! - Page 19

I installed the M4 64gb into my Asus K53E-BBR9 i5 laptop. It shipped with firmware 0002. Installed windows, applied all the tweaks.

Firmware 0002 was getting 440 mb/s. Updated firmware to 0009 using cd in AHCI mode.

Now maxing at 554 mb/s.

Testing with ATTO.

Hi, Sorry for my English.
When I downloaded the file from Crucial site I got a .zip file, when unzipped I got what is in the picture (an ISO file), then I burned it using Imgburn (http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download) to the CD.
Hope it helps

You don't Open the ISO file, instead you right-click on it and choose Burn disk image. You probably have set your WinRAR to treat ISO files as archives so when you double-clicked, WinRAR just opened and showed what's inside this ISO file.

I don't have this option, when I save, it just saves as an zip file. Same thing happens when I burn the iso file to the CD.

On the CD...

On PC...

What am I doing wrong? and thank you for your responses.

It's not a .zip file, but WinZip (?) is set to open .iso files. Right click on it and open it with Windows Disk Imager or whatever it's called.

How do I save it as a iso file? From the crucial site the default settings on my computer are saving it as a zip file how do I change that?

Sorry, there's an .iso inside the .zip. Extract it and then open the .iso with the Windows burning utility. smile.gif
