Just another confirmation that there is no need to reformat or any loss of data. Easy-pesy

Format your USB stick first. Then run unetbootin (as admin?) and select the ISO.

If it figures out what the ISO does, it'll add the proper options to your flashdrive. Reboot, boot from USB, and hope that the menu option does something.

If you can get past that point it should work okay. But sometimes unetbootin can't figure out an ISO, and then you get a menu with a whole bunch of items that don't actually do anything.

He's on msahci drivers.

He needs to be on these for speed:

You're still using msahci drivers. AMD RAID drivers should provide massive gains.

Buy from NCIX - they have pricematching to Canadian stores.

http://ncix.com/products/?sku=60444&...L%20TECHNOLOGY
-> http://www.shopbot.ca/m/?m=Crucial+M...r=lh&p1=90&p2=

$111.00 is probably the one I'd pricematch to. The other one is an American shop. NCIX has $5.99 ground shipping for your whole order this week, so if you need anything else you can cram it into your order and get nearly-free shipping.

You could also buy it from B&H Photo Video, but I don't know what their shipping rates are like to Canada.

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc..._SSD_2_5_.html

I go with NCIX because 500 points (gained from reviews and their newsletters) gets you free two-way RMA shipping on everything.

Edit: If you want the 128GB:

-> http://www.shopbot.ca/m/?m=CT128M4SSD2&order=lh&p1=&p2=

Getting the same message myself on both my newegg.com accounts. I am guessing they probably messed up or something but I sent em an email about it. Hopefully they can reply soon enough (before the promo ends next Tuesday) clarifying it.

in the link theres a guy saying they ran out of funds? I took a screen shot of the promo and emailed them they shouldn't just cut us off the promo clearly states ends on the 30th. I would be really disappointed in newegg if they wont honor it.
