+1 Ive been looking through memory reviews. you can basically use DDR3 1333 and it wont make much difference. from what i saw you lose like 1fps out of 100.

and this is sometimes a pricegap of $30-50. Save the money for games to put on your gaming computer.

You may want to check with Noctua site just to be certain that the memory will fit in your board with a Noctua D14 installed. As some of the high performance memory with the extra large heatsink fins might not fit.

Edit
I have 4xMushkin Silverline 4GB and the last memory stick only just fits(2-3mm clearance) under the Noctua D12 and there not performance sticks.

Make sure you get 1.5V RAM, and that it was made with P67/Z68 in mind, I've fried 2 pairs of RAM that were made for P55 because I was trying to be cheap and buy older RAM. I would check out the Corsair Vengence without the tall heatsinks on them, that's what I'll be getting. And no, its not just the voltage killing my RAM, I lost a 1.35V pair, when I tried to set XMP in some software I have it told me the RAM was not a good match for my system, the other RAM didn't get that error but was 1.65V and slowly died over a 2 week period.

Pretty much anything in the realm of DDR3-1600. From what I've read, it's the sweet spot, especially since latency is usually the same as lower-frequency kits and the price difference is very small.

DDR3-1600, CAS 9 and below, 1.5v. My 2c.

Then you had bad RAM. Sandy Bridge is more than capable of 1.35v RAM and 1.65v RAM. RAM is RAM, it doesn't matter if its "Designed for P67" or not, that's just a marketing gimmick.
