You can find some 5.1 logitech systems for around 100$ or buy a semi nice 2.1 system with a "okay" bass, but dont expect jinormo bass and many speakers for 100$

I personally have this set for my so so gaming rig and its LOUD and decent for the price dont let anyone put down logitech because they are audiophobes

Logitech doesn't make speakers...

For $100 you wont find a 2.1 channel set that is particularly good, and you especially wont find a 5.1 system.

A used Promedia 2.1 set would work, but I would recommend saving up another $50 and buying some Dayton Audio B562s, Speaker wire, a T-Amp, and a Sub 80.

+1 that would be a great move : a bit more you could also consider the Pioneer BS21 now back to $49.99/free ship on Egg and a Dayton DAT-100A or Topping TP-22 amp thumb.gif

I recently got a set of Logitech X-540
I'm happy with them. I think that set is discontinued though
the center speaker being made to mount on top of an lcd monitor is a good feature IMO especially for my desk layout as I wouldn't have room to place a speaker in front of the monitor even if it was short enough to not block any of the viewable area
