buy one, and never worry about inadequate cooling again

edit: didnt notice the guy above with an ft02.... =\ Maybe I'm just lucky but with a custom fan profile and about 24c room temp my 590 never goes above 77c

Can you hook me up with that custom fan profile? Or at least tell me the specs - Because I'm definitely heating mine up a bit frown.gif

Sadly, they aren't going to be released for a long while, supposedly. And I'm sure when they finally are, I'll have a new card by then lol.

yeah in evga precision i've got it set up like 30c/40%, 50c/50%, 60/60, 70/70, 80/80, 90c/100%.

in bf3 on ultra settings vsync on at 1920x1080 It stays at about 65-73c after hours of gameplay. granted each gpu is only at like 55% usage or so.

It looks as though on the bottom you could add a fan and intake that would help temps in the case in general.

What case is that 590 in?

Any half decent case should have a fan slot on the side door right above where the video cards usually go. I would get a nice Nocta or Scythe Kaze ultra or something and put it on your door slot to blow air straight on the card.

Fill in your system specs in your sig.

EDIT: NVM can you tell us what your fan setup is in your Phantom?

I'd take off the plastic shroud and leave the vapor chambers exposed; Build some sort of flat bracket, mount 3 120mm(Gentle typhoons possibly, or better if performance > noise) fans to it, mount it UNDER the graphics card blowing UP towards the vapor chambers. I've done something similiar to this before with excellent temperature reductions.

You would want exceptional exhaust with this though.

You said unorthodox right?
