If you were AMD would you want Intel to know the performance of your flagship processor when they have so much money they could release IB next week if they really wanted to?

OT- The article is from WCCF,take anything from them with a pile of salt.

I thought this might just be due to the chinese text pack thing, so I rebooted. But, when I logged back on to IE I discovered that all of my passwords- etc had been cleared- not a good sign. I ran a scan and didn't find anything other than the regular 100 tracking cookies, but I still think that chinese sources site is an attack site. Be careful if you go there.
Wow,thx for the heads up,I was about to click on the link.

All signs point to AMD not pulling off a "conroe" on Sandy Bridge. I'm sure it will be a good chip, just not earth shattering for Intel at least.
Any benchmarks that were leaked are either fake or only show the performance of the ES chips.

All signs point to AMD not pulling off a "conroe" on Sandy Bridge. I'm sure it will be a good chip, just not earth shattering for Intel at least.
I guess they don't want to repeat the whole Phenom thing.

All that 'Core 2 duo killer' hype, For nothing, AMD probably doesn't want to do the same, They want to keep quiet now.

But if it does not meet my expectations (at atleast 15% perf. increase) then i will go off my nut

I'll bet you're right.

Same thing, Sandy will win in gaming, lightly threaded apps, and AMD users will post Cinebench results.
