RipJaws 1333 CL9 Max Safe Volts for OC

Thread Starter
Just wanted to know what kind of volts i could put into these, i've a 140mm fan on the side panel of the case blowing air right on top of them, as well as 2x 120 mm fans on the lower-side of the side panel so there's plenty of air flow on the board.

The rated voltage for G.Skill DDR3 PC3-10666 1333MHz (mine, 2x4GB) is 1.5v im trying to get them to 1600 atm, as im bored-ish, i've tried to 1.6v and chickened out as it still wouldn't post lol, anyone got an ideas?

Much appreciated for any help, Thanks.

PSC ICs should never pass 1.75V.
Being both generic 1333 CL9 and 4GB DIMM (usually lower binned on 4GB DIMMs because the higher capacity ICs used for those are newer and less mature).... don't expect this kit to hit 1600Mhz...

If 1.75v is max, what would be the max safe voltage that won't deteriorate the memory overly quickly? From what I have gathered from other threads, memory that's rated for 1.5v shouldn't really be pushed past 1.55-1.6v max. Is that about right?

I am running the 16gb version of this kit (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231441).

Thanks.

Most people try to keep it under 1.65v

1.7 or under is fine
