hey all its time to finally get rid of my sd tv

im looking for 37-40 inch but im aware that it seems alot of the good companies arent making any new 37 inch

will be using it with the stand and the stand its self can not exceed 19 inches in width i will provide pics to show why

atleast 4 hdmi ports and good sound for a bedroom doesnt have to be theater sound but good and if there nothing with good sound is there soundbars out there that are just one piece that have good reviews

i will be watching on it 95 percent of the time movies and tv shows then the rest would be wrestling and ps3

dont care about 3d it gives me headaches

dont know if it should be lcd or led ill wait for your recommendations

looking to spend 800-900

heres pics of my currents setup

i just need the tv with stand to go on the stand my tv is on now under the stand is my ps3 to the left is my popcorn hour media player and hard drives

the cable box ill put up a shelf for

any questions feel free to ask

Ok so a few things before I make a recommendation: 40" is the new 37". I know, shocker. Secondly, 99.99999% of TVs only have 3 HDMI ports soooo you are going to have to find a splitter of receiver or something if you want more.

Best deal I've seen lately is this toshiba. They are decent. I used to have one a while back.

Nothing really special about it. It is full HD, has 3 HDMI ports and is on sale for $499!

If you watch TV and game in the dark get one with good contrast and black level, usual mean Samsung or Sharp. The older sharp have bad colors, yellow white, but may be you can live with it.

Be aware about clouding issues, read customers reviews at amazon etc.

For LCD I would ONLY suggest a samsung, in a C650 series or higher.
I hear plasma is become pretty decent, some prefer it over LCD or LED.
But i wouldn't suggest getting a used, or older model Plasma if you go that route.

opinions on sony KDL-40EX500 and sharp LC40LE830U ?

You get a lot more bang for your buck in that price range if you go plasma. Just pick between Samsung's or Panasonic's latest offering. They will kill an LCD/LED's picture quality at that price point.
