in total we have the same amount of rad (ive got 2x rx360) and i dont hit 80c in prime at 5500mhz (granted i only tried it for 15min but i was getting 69-72c max so i wouldnt say it would go another 8c up).

If you run IBT extreme your rig will shutdown for sure. Mine hit 90c with 23c ambient

Wow thats some high temp and no HT. I though 76C with IBT Extreme was high for my CPU. I would suggest you go for 5.0Ghz and lower the voltage at the same time.

Nah that's just an extreme case, there's almost no way to stress the CPU this much in regular usage. I am suspecting one pump doesn't deliver enough flow

do you have avx prime95? ive run ibt before, didnt really see a difference in temps

I've been priming for many days with v26 prime (avx). Prime doesn't put out as much heat as IBT. That is even if you run one small fft and one blend. When you run IBT you need to use up 90% at least. Standard or high doesn't really stress the CPU as much

always use the max, im actually running it atm to compare to a prime run i did in the morning same temps, maybe 1c difference on a core
post #28 of 39
ibt just finished there, max temp i hit was 60c where with prime95 i was getting 59c max so not that much of a difference still the point is your temps are to high for a custom loop, at 5.2 you should be hitting 70 maybe 72 max

I just tried it and my cpu hits 72C in less than 1 minute.

Managed to take some pictures of the back of the casing:

A few build note:

Initially I wanted to use a 90 degree fitting on the rad's lower inlet. However, after I installed the rad into the casing only did I figure that there's no way I could install a 90 degree compression due to the size of the fitting. I ended up using a straight compression and a 45 degree compression at the pump's outlet to hook up the tubing.

I placed the pump where it is so that I could monitor any leakage and makes maintenance possible. Also, initially the pump's inlet was supposed to be a straight compression but the bend was too much that I was worried that the tube would eventually come off, so I changed it to a 45 degree.

Everything in this casing is easily accessible (except for some of the cabling in the back). I've built very clean looking PC before but many times it compromise accessibility.
