I mean, come on. Apple needs to throttle back on their butthurt. They shouldn't put irresponsible people out on the streets, losing their equipment, and certainly, shouldn't back it up by sending their goon lackeys to take it into their own hands, let alone, impersonate police officers in the process. I hope they get hit hard and heavy.... that, or maybe Steve Jobs can say iSorry for once.

Do you people honestly believe that this ever even happened? It's a made-up story to give free advertising to Apple and the SF bar owner. None of the actions ever happened. No one had a lost iphone prototype, no one showed up to someone's door claiming to be police officers searching for an iphone because Apple tracked it down.
Read part of the original post of this from CNET:
has nothing to do with the story, it's just blatant nonsensical advertising. More than likely, someone who works at Apple is buddies with the bar owner, and they were like, "dude, I have this AWESOME idea. You ready for it...?"
