Maybe you shouldn't give advice about gfx cards, after all you downgraded...

Thats because the 560 did not exist at the moment of the review (31/01/2011), there was only 560 Ti.
The 560 (not Ti) was launch on 17/05/2011

[QUOTE=Razi3l;14821673]Actually PNY lifetime sucks. Its the lifetime of the product, so for example the GTX 400 series came out last year and are already EOL, and that means the lifetime warranty is gone. And since PNY offer a 1 year as standard, this means that their 1 year is expired also. QUOTE]

Wow, You're exactly right on this. I can't believe they call that life time when everrybody knows how fast tech moves ahead. Thats a total legal twist on words that I think is rotten of PNY to do. When I saw the 'lifetime warranty' I thought 'wow, thats really nice to have', when in reality, a 2 year warranty is much better.

If I could minus rep PNY I would

But the 6950 isn't 10% faster in BC2, which is what you implied.

I don't understand how you can fail to notice. The GTX 560 Ti gets 60fps at 1920x1200. The 6950 gets 64 fps. Now I'm pretty sure that is a difference of about 6-7%. As for the witcher its a difference of 2fps from 40 to 42, so that is 5% - So your claim of "that difference doesn't actually exist" is false because it does. :/
Why do you think I posted the FPS counts? A 5-6% difference isn't the 10% you were claiming. I didn't say there was NO difference. Please re-read my post since you didn't understand it the first time.

Quote:
So as we can see, the HD 6950 is faster in 8 games, and the GTX 560 Ti is faster in 4 games so what does that mean?.. On average the 6950 is faster.
What? I was never claiming the 6950 wasn't faster. It's not by nearly as much as you seem to think though, on average.

Now you're trying to change your argument.

If you are looking for raw performance, go with a Radeon 6950. If you want to have less performance and more visual stuff (PhysiX) go with the Nvidicrap card. Or, it you want the best of both worlds get a 6950 and then a really cheap card to use for PhysiX. There is a driver hack that allows the use of a PhysiX card.

I absolutely love my 560 Ti. I have had both cards the 2gb 6950 and 560Ti & I really dont see much of a difference. My 560 TI is quieter which is nice. The reason I opted for Nvidia is because of Physx If AMD had Physx implemented I would still have my 6950

This review actually shows the 560 beating the 6950 in Crysis 2. http://www.guru3d.com/article/crysis...e-benchmarks/9

The FPS in the one you linked are way lower for some reason.
