Aight, a problem; no more of that Kingston available, but found this one for 40 Euroes: PATRIOT Signature 8GB (2x4GB) 1600MHz DDR3 PSD38G1600KH

What do you guys think? Sounds like a nice deal and looks like solid memory to me.

Did you get those Patriots in the end? Are you satisfied with them?

As I, basically, live in the same extremely f'ed up place as you I face the same availability issues. I'm a software developer and I'm looking to offload all my developer stuff (projects, libraries, work environments, severs etc.) to a 10GB-ish RAMdisk for increased productivity so I'm seeking for 4x4GB sticks to do the job. I could get 16GB of the patriots you linked for €80 (rated at 1.5V) or 16 gigs of HyperX for €92 (rated at 1.65v). Both are 1600MHz 9C models. I'm leaning towards the Patriot ones just because I'll be switching to a Sandy Bridge platform soon, and I'd like for the RAM to run within the memory rated spec (under 1.575V was it?).

Thoughts?

Thanks for your input.

I went for the Patriot Signature ones due to a combination of factors such as price, availability and specs. Got 16GB for myself and 8GB for a friend. One of his stick were faulty so they're already returned while I'm having troubles getting mine completely stable. Memtest86+ 4.2 will randomly reboot the system, but it's capable of passing several cycles of testing before that happens. Tried bumping VCCIO to 1.2v, didn't help. Although I'm trying 1T and that might be the cause of actual problems, next time I'll do the test with 2T command rate.
